So you want to fight "wokeness"

OK. You want to take down the reigning ideology of the West. Big goal. How do you do it?

The following advice will completely disregard the Constitution. We’re postliberals here, not liberals.

*Strictly ban all forms of discrimination against Whites, men, the cisgendered, the non-homosexual etc. Don’t mention any other groups; they already have groups fighting for them. Hanania argues all one needs to do is simply to end civil rights law -this will completely fail, as “wokeness” comes from civil society, not from law. As even Hanania understands, even if it had its origins in civil rights law, it has become self-sustaining, and thus will remain just as severe in the absence of civil rights law. Despite my disagreements with Hanania, it is clear having the law on your side definitely helps. So make it explicit.

*If you can’t do the above, at least, as Hanania suggests, vastly reduce the damages from discrimination lawsuits by normally protected groups (though, to be honest, I don’t think this will be any easier or more effective than doing the above). Note that this idea and the one above are not actually contradictory, even if there is tension between them.

*Related to the above, iron out the contradictions in the law so companies never feel incentivized to discriminate against Whites, men, the cisgendered, the non-homosexual, etc.

*Similarly, strictly and explicitly ban all forms of discrimination against the anti-woke (and don’t punch right here when crafting the text). Free market capitalism is the disease here, not the cure.

*If you can’t do the above, at least ban affirmative action in colleges (and, if possible, all state institutions).

*If you can do the above, raise college and high (and even middle) school standards. It’s good in general (to reduce the social cost of signaling) and for your specific goals (lower the number of Blacks and, in the long run, Hispanics, in the education system).

*If you can’t do the above, undo Bakke and institute quotas. Then fight to lower the quotas. Americans hate this because America is a very liberal country and quotas aren’t very liberal -but it’s better than having nothing to fight over and leaving valuable slots to the enemy by default.

*Likewise, institute racial quotas in advertisements. Stop this.

*Strictly forbid all “diversity training” initiatives, including by making it legal for victims of them to sue them

*Regularly impeach and remove enemy personnel (even ones appointed by you).

*Crack down on “woke” academic publications (including those deliberately predesigned to further a "woke” agenda, such as that study of police officer rhetoric in audio tapes). Simply find reasons to fire people publishing them or ban them. “Being derogatory towards the White race” is as good a reason as any. As a bonus, you can get rid of those “New Historians of Capitalism” (which suck).

*Related to the above, change the structure of grant funding. Disincentivize DIE rhetoric or policy in grant applications. Make your priorities clear.

*Excommunicate any one of your member group who advocates woke ideas (such as “Blacks are dysfunctional because of a history of oppression by Whites”). Also, make strict litmus tests for appointees that they would not, under any circumstances, pull a Gorsuch.

*Ban any demands on or derogatory remarks against the White race, men, the cisgendered, the non-homosexual, etc. as hate speech. Explicitly put in law that any derogatory speech against currently protected classes is not hate speech, but protected free speech. The woke aren’t symmetric here, and neither should you be.

*On second thought, ban any “woke” speech altogether. This is harder to implement, but completely doable.

*Ban state-funded travel to California, New York, and Oregon

*Ban the promotion of homosexuality to minors ala Putin’s Russia or Orban’s Hungary

*Pull a page out of the Orban playbook and do a national referendum on child protection from the gay/trans agenda (only bring up those questions you can win on)

*If you can’t do the above, fight wokeness the way antisemitism and antizionism are currently being fought -through government contracts and university speech codes. Those laws violate the First Amendment, and so should yours.

*Make life difficult for businesses that choose to go “woke”. There are many ways to do this.

*Force woke professors out of universities and promote the hiring of nonwoke professors. Again, you have to make your priorities clear here.

*Make a list of prohibited works and place every “woke” book and author on it (there aren’t many). Apply the list to as many contexts as needed.

*Ban memorials for Black criminals such as George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Michael Brown, etc.

*Ban forcing children to research “Black inventors”. Instead, force them to research White and East Asian inventors.

*Westernize and Easternize the curriculum -but only allow hints of southernization, mostly from Latin America and Southeast Asia

*Dramatically increase penalties on looting stores and setting police precincts on fire. The longer the jail terms, the better.

*Never do “bail reform”. Instead, raise bail (even if to excessive levels).

*Mandate media display the full camera footage from all encounters of Blacks who get shot, killed, or seriously injured by police

*Display lots of images and instances of Blacks behaving badly in your campaign ads in the manner of “tell representative so and so to do something about this issue”, etc. The majority of liberals, that is, those who aren’t in the (very powerful) 5% of the population who support bad Black (and White) behavior and want it to dramatically expand, genuinely think bad Black behavior was something invented by Thomas Jefferson or can be fixed by “criminal justice reform”. Please take time to disabuse them of that notion.

*Mandate social media companies censor anything reeking of wokeness or “cancel culture” and get them to stop censoring pro-White speech or anti-woman “harassment”. Merely doing the latter will be powerful, but obviously insufficient -remember, this was almost completely the case before mid-2016, and wokeness was very powerful then, too.

*If you can’t do the above, don’t even bother setting up social media accounts -if you’re honest, you’ll get banned anyway. Instead, expect everything to be done from your own website. Set up your own miniature Twitter and Discord clones, too. Instead of Facebook, get your followers to use RSS.

*Remove the charitable tax deduction

*Remove the nonprofit tax exemption from law

*Ban banks (and other businesses, e.g., payment processors, stores, airlines) from deplatforming anti-woke individuals (and I mean that in a broad sense -don’t punch right)

*Institute the death penalty for transgenderism, as well as homosexuality. This can’t possibly hurt.

*If you can’t do the above, do what Arkansas did. Yeah; the Federal courts will block it, but it’s worth trying.

*Banning CRT is for cucks. It’s necessary, it’s nowhere near sufficient. Mandate the teaching of race realist concepts in schools, as well as the biological foundations of sex and the Greater Male Variability Theory, as well as the Gay Germ Theory (explain why it’s implausible that a lack of desire for straight sex would somehow emerge on its own through evolution). Highlight race as a crucial factor in the divergence between Canada and the United States and Latin America and the Caribbean (as well as Japan, 台湾, and South Korea from South Asia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia). Make sure all students know 13/50, the Black-White IQ gap, the Black-White income gap, the relevant standard deviations, interracial rape statistics, and the overrepresentation of Blacks in college relative to their IQ (also, the relevant Hispanic-White and East Asian and South Asian-White gaps). Explain why the U.S. ranks low on international test scores. There is no such thing as “wokeness” with race realism, banning CRT without it is just replacing CRT with CRT.

*Instead of teaching race/gender/sexual orientation relations as desirably or inevitably leading to some central equilibrium point (equality of opportunity in the conservative narrative or equality of outcome in the liberal one), teach race/gender/sexual orientation relations as a struggle as perpetual and inevitable as the weather (unless one side simply gives up), with dominant people desiring further benefits for dominant people and non-dominant people desiring further benefits for non-dominant people until they become dominant themselves- a situation with multiple possible equilibria, with equality of outcome or opportunity (especially a general equilibrium) being simply unreasonable to ever expect for any length of time. Stress the fundamentally zero sum nature of an outright majority of the racial/gender/sexual orientation struggle, and briefly touch on some of the negative or positive sum implications of some of its outcomes. Discuss this struggle in the context of the American Indian conquest.

*Teach the importance of the marginalization of the White race in America (including the replacement of Whites by Asians in sectors requiring a high IQ), repeatedly referencing Latin American, Kazakh, South African, and Zimbabwean history for examples of Whites as a minority.

*Emphasize that college Whites are White, too.

*Teach both White and Black (especially post-1960) violence as driving forces in American history (and the notable reduction of both since about 1990)

*Promote the teaching of the works of famous American, British, and German dissidents against Vermont/Massachusetts thought (and I don’t mean mere “classical liberals”).

*Oppose NIMBYism and support urbanization. The lower the price of housing in a state, the less “woke” it is, and the more urbanized a state relative to its demand for housing, the lower its housing prices will be. Cities are not inherently “woke”, nor are suburbs inherently unwoke.

*Support immigration from nonwoke countries and oppose immigration from woke ones.

*Support sending the woke to irrelevant countries like the Netherlands and Japan. Get Europe to open the borders to Americans.

*Set up ten new statues of Confederate leaders for every one that gets torn down. Yes, even in the North. If you can’t get statues of Confederate leaders set up in the North, at least get some antebellum Democrats. Note the slippery slope: you take down the statues of Confederate leaders, you get statues of Lincoln, TR, Jefferson, etc. taken down as well. But the reverse is also true.

*Do not grant interviews with “woke” media organizations. Treat them like Iranian media is treated currently.

*Do not promote “nonwoke Democrats” (they’re a mythical creature, like the unicorn), but always keep an eye out for “woke Republicans” (there are many). This is always true for politicians, but does not strictly hold for the voters.

*Make right-wing America look less shitty. Currently, Republican states have much lower life expectancy than Democratic states (this is especially notable among Kerry-McCain voters). Promote (within reason) building muscle and decent diet while discouraging tobacco and marijuana use with a variety of incentives (including outright bans). If this alienates people, so much the better.

*Don’t alienate people by being excessively anti-popularist. Vaccine and mask mandates are popularist, supporting the January 6 defendants is anti-popularist. Contrary to common myth, the American public is centrist (with a reasonable degree of variation).

*Understand Trump was not a brilliant politician-he massively underperformed the fundamentals in the primary, somewhat underperformed the fundamentals against Clinton, and slightly underperformed the fundamentals against Biden. Trumpism also didn’t accomplish anything, so I don’t recommend any variety of Trumpism, with or without Trump. Instead, look East -Putin, Orban, 习, Prayut, etc. -and, if one wants to look close to home, look at examples of successful American governors.

In short, penalize everything that can be penalized. Reward everything that can be rewarded.
