Asian Americans: Achievement Beyond IQ
Probably the only good book James Flynn wrote.
For example, the post-war generation of Chinese Americans, those born from 1945 to 1949, had a mean IQ of 98.5 with Whites set at 100. But their achievements in terms of education, occupation, and income suggest an estimated IQ about 21 points higher than their actual IQ.
Also a welcome refresher from Lynn’s more ludicrous ideas on China’s IQ (its average is probably similar to Romania’s or Turkey’s).
Inspired by an Education Realist tweet pointing out that there are still far more East Asians in Congress than South Asians.
